Role Summary
We are seeking an Online Assistant Merchandising Planner to join our EU Ecommerce team in London. Reporting directly to the Online Merchandising Planning and Inventory Control Manager, this role is pivotal in optimizing our e-commerce platform to align with the trading strategy while overseeing merchandising planning for assigned product categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute the launch of targeted landing pages to drive trading objectives.
- Manage and optimize category pages based on product assortment, including responsibility for product sorting and content planning.
- Oversee on-site search functionality, navigation, and other web elements to ensure a superior customer journey that supports the trading strategy.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to enhance the online customer experience.
- Coordinate with the website operations team to prioritize content updates on the site.
- Handle sales planning for designated product divisions, contingent on your background.
- Partner with the E-Commerce merchandise planner, Head of Online Trading, and merchandising teams to formulate seasonal plans for specific product categories.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of merchandising experience within the fashion retail sector.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Demonstrated commercial insight with proven success in driving sales growth.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English.
