Role Overview
Based at our Abbotsford premises, the Office and Facilities Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards, and enhancing the office work environment. Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, this position involves comprehensive facilities management and administrative coordination to support a productive and secure workplace.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the leased Abbotsford site.
- Manage contractor engagements, repairs, compliance tasks, and site presentation.
- Coordinate space planning and optimize office layout configurations.
- Serve as the primary contact for office operations, providing effective workplace support and handling various administrative duties.
- Order and manage office supplies, handle purchase orders, vendor relationships, and facilitate onboarding activities.
- Address employee workplace requests, ensuring smooth and efficient office functioning.
Requirements
- Australian citizenship with eligibility for or possession of Defence security clearance.
- Proven experience in facilities coordination, office management or operational support roles.
- Skilled in coordinating contractor and maintenance activities within a multi-stakeholder or regulated environment.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Business Administration or a comparable field are preferred, or commensurate practical experience.
