About the Role

We seek skilled natural resource conservation scientists to help develop the next wave of AI technology. Your expertise will guide AI systems in accurately interpreting and communicating environmental science topics such as ecosystem management and biodiversity preservation. This opportunity is a flexible, fully remote contract where your knowledge directly enhances AI quality.

Responsibilities

• Examine conservation science questions, scenarios, and case studies utilized in AI training datasets.
• Verify scientific accuracy of AI-generated content related to land use, ecosystems, soil science, hydrology, and biodiversity.
• Determine if AI suggestions align with real-world conservation best practices and land management standards.
• Detect errors, omissions, or faulty reasoning in environmental science outputs produced by AI.
• Offer clear, organized feedback to refine AI’s scientific reasoning and response accuracy.
• Operate independently and asynchronously, completing task-based assignments on your own schedule.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in natural resource conservation, environmental science, or land management.
• Solid understanding of ecosystems, conservation concepts, and applied land management techniques.
• Ability to critically assess scientific logic and identify impractical or incorrect recommendations.
• Comfort with reviewing and providing detailed written critiques on structured scientific content.
• Self-driven and dependable, capable of managing work without direct supervision.
• No prior experience with AI is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees such as Master's or PhD in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Ecology, or related disciplines.
• Practical experience conducting fieldwork or managing conservation projects.
• Knowledge of conservation policies, land management regulations, or ecosystem restoration practices.
• Background in content review, technical writing, or evaluation workflows is advantageous.
