About The Role
Pragmatike is partnering with a rapidly expanding AI consumer technology firm to hire a Motion Designer specializing in Paid Social & Creative Growth. This full-time contractor role is remote and demands fluent English. The designer will oversee the entire creative workflow, producing engaging video advertisements and user-generated content styled creatives targeting platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Close collaboration with growth marketers and production teams will be key to iterating quickly and shaping the brand’s visual language.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and animate compelling video ads and UGC-inspired content aimed at paid social media campaigns.
- Develop initial concepts, hooks, and visual narratives from ideation to final production.
- Design content optimized for platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Test diverse creative approaches, ranging from sleek motion graphics to authentic social-native content.
- Supply a steady stream of creative assets and variations for rapid experimentation and performance optimization.
- Work closely with producers, marketers, and user acquisition teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Use engagement and conversion metrics to analyze and refine creative output.
- Keep a consistent brand visual identity while exploring innovative creative directions.
- Propose improvements to creative processes, production quality, and campaign results.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience crafting motion graphics and video content for digital marketing or paid social initiatives.
- A strong portfolio evidencing motion design skills; familiarity with performance marketing creatives is a plus.
- Advanced skills in After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern production tools.
- Deep understanding of animation principles, typography, composition, color use, pacing, and storytelling.
- Experience tailoring creatives for social platforms and short-form video formats.
- Knowledge of advertising essentials including hooks, emotional storytelling, and calls-to-action.
- Proficiency in integrating AI-driven creative tools into image, video, audio, or production workflows.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting without much supervision.
- Strong English communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating top-performing paid acquisition creatives for consumer subscription offerings.
- Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and interpreting campaign creative metrics.
- Skill in writing advertising hooks and short-form video scripts.
- Interest in AI technologies and emerging creative workflows.
- Experience building automation tools or optimizing creative production processes.
- Awareness of internet culture, social trends, and viral content styles.
- Background in startup or high-growth company environments.
