Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a Merchandiser at Rawbought based in Singapore, this role encompasses strategic sales planning, product management, relationship building, stock control, supply chain oversight, visual merchandising, e-commerce management, and team leadership. The individual will be responsible for crafting sales strategies in line with both short- and long-term business objectives, setting clear commercial priorities, and managing product lifecycles from inception to market delivery. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams will be necessary to facilitate product launches, promotional campaigns, and to maintain brand integrity.
Key Duties
- Develop and oversee sales strategies with measurable outcomes supporting business goals.
- Drive the commercial focus for essential products, including planning pre-season and new product introductions.
- Lead brand performance reviews by compiling detailed reports and providing actionable insights.
- Analyze sales metrics, market trends, and competitor landscape to inform strategic adjustments.
- Manage product development timelines and budgets in partnership with product developers and factories, coordinating samples and design approvals.
- Maintain daily communication with B2B clients and internal departments to swiftly resolve issues and support customer relationships.
- Forecast stock needs, analyze inventory flows, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to various retail outlets and events.
- Apply supply chain data insights to enhance operational efficiency and meet commercial targets.
- Collaborate with branding teams on visually compelling merchandising and display setups in stores and at events.
- Manage e-commerce product listings and support marketing efforts like photoshoots.
- Lead and motivate the team, managing task distribution and fostering an open, collaborative environment.
- Engage in hands-on operational activities such as order picking, event setup, and delivery coordination as part of a rotational schedule.
Requirements
- Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or fashion-related field.
- 3 to 5 years of merchandising experience, preferably in fashion apparel or manufacturing sectors.
- Prior experience within an in-house merchandising, controlling, or e-commerce environment is essential.
- Knowledge of the Singapore retail and fashion markets, including customer behavior and competitors.
- Overseas merchandising experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to learn quickly and take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong physical stamina required due to operational activities.
