Position Overview
The Medical Office Assistant (MOA) plays a crucial administrative role, supporting patient appointment scheduling, record management, billing, and communication within the clinic. This position ensures seamless coordination between patients and healthcare providers, supports multiple medical disciplines, and maintains smooth clinic operations, ultimately contributing to a high-quality patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver courteous, efficient patient support including check-in and procedure guidance as directed by physicians or clinic management.
- Respond promptly to phone and written communications.
- Prepare and manage correspondence such as appointment confirmations, pharmacy liaising, lab materials, and professional letters.
- Monitor and follow up on physician-assigned tasks through various communication channels.
- Accurately handle billing and insurance paperwork ensuring compliance and smooth daily processes.
- Coordinate transport of laboratory samples and arrange patient appointments.
- Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and support general administrative workflow.
- Convert paper medical records into digital formats through data entry and updates.
- Contribute to a positive work atmosphere and provide coverage across different office functions as required.
- Perform additional duties as designated.

Compensation and Commitment
