About the Role
Our client seeks a dynamic and innovative Marketing & Communications Intern to aid the London Communications team. This role blends internal communications, digital marketing, brand promotion, and content management. Collaborating with the Senior Communications Manager, you will craft communications that boost employee engagement, reinforce the company's brand, and maintain consistent messaging across the organization. You will also assist with communications for client events and European conferences as needed.
Key Duties
- Manage and enhance the firm's internal social platform (Viva Engage) through engaging content and employee involvement.
- Write articles, announcements, and other content for internal newsletters and publications.
- Keep the London intranet accurate, engaging, and current.
- Support Employee Resource Networks by organizing newsletters and internal communications efforts.
- Update and maintain London platform content on the corporate website.
- Assist in developing marketing and communication materials across digital, print, and video mediums.
- Contribute to corporate publications, campaigns, and promotional material.
- Collaborate with communications teams across Europe to ensure unified branding and messaging.
- Produce high-quality communications that align with business goals to strengthen the firm's brand.
- Coordinate content publication through multiple communication channels.
- Provide communications assistance during client events in London and at European conferences.
- Manage supplier onboarding and the Know Your Supplier process.
- Process communications and marketing invoices through Harmoni.
- Provide administrative assistance to ensure timely and quality delivery of communications projects.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience or background in communications, marketing, corporate communications, or a related area.
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, proofreading, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience administrating digital content, intranets, websites, or internal communications platforms.
- Familiarity with branding, corporate communications, or digital marketing concepts is helpful.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Proactive, self-driven, and eager to take initiative.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Additional Information
This internship runs for 4 to 6 months and provides substantial experience within a diverse communications team at a top multinational financial institution. The role offers exposure to internal and external corporate communications, digital marketing, brand strategy, and stakeholder engagement, along with participation in notable client and European events.
