Role Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our North York team supporting key Ice Cream brands. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this role provides broad exposure across marketing, innovation, commercialization, and manufacturing, serving as an excellent entry point for a career in consumer marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to designing and implementing marketing and digital strategies aligned with brand goals and market dynamics to boost brand presence and consumer engagement.
  • Support ongoing analysis of consumer insights and market data to guide marketing strategies within business cycles.
  • Gain diverse experience in brand management, consumer insights, innovation, commercialization, and business planning areas.
  • Assist with innovation and renovation projects throughout commercialization stages, collaborating with Marketing, R&D, Commercialization, and manufacturing teams to launch products effectively.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Sales, and Strategy to execute marketing initiatives and deliver business impact.
  • Help organize marketing events such as product launches and trade shows to maximize brand exposure.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for enhancement.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies ensuring alignment to brand objectives.
  • Acquire understanding of complete product lifecycle through close partnership with manufacturing and factory operations.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Entry-level position with preference for candidates having internships, co-op, or up to three years in Marketing, Sales, Sales Strategy, Project Management, Agency work, Consumer Packaged Goods, or related commercial roles.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and communicate effectively through story-driven presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills facilitating collaboration across teams.
  • Robust organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Adaptability and quick learning ability in fast-evolving environments.
  • Competence in working effectively with various stakeholders.
