Overview
FedEx is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join its Strategic Marketing team. This position involves performing detailed market analysis, distilling competitive data, and generating actionable insights to foster business expansion across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, especially within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate strategic business plans and priorities for APAC that align with regional and corporate revenue goals.
- Oversee gathering and evaluation of diverse market data for the APAC region, including macroeconomic trends, industry conditions, competitors, and customer needs, to pinpoint opportunities and risks.
- Utilize quantitative methods to convert data into strategic intelligence and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with teams throughout APAC and headquarters to perform comprehensive market assessments.
- Create and present findings to senior and regional leadership to influence business strategy.
- Lead and articulate APAC business updates to corporate executives, highlighting region-specific strategic initiatives and growth progress.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or similar analytical discipline.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in market analysis, preferably with logistics and freight forwarding experience and regional exposure.
- Prior involvement in regional consulting projects is advantageous.
- Possess strong commercial insight, organizational aptitude, and numerical proficiency in a dynamic setting.
- Highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
