About the Role

We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist with extensive expertise in the production of switchgear panels. The successful candidate will be integral in refining manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and boosting operational efficiency on the switchgear production line. This role demands a comprehensive knowledge of switchgear manufacturing, strong problem-solving capabilities, and leadership in coordinating with diverse functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop production documentation for new products, prototypes, and assemblies.
  • Enhance current manufacturing operations by introducing innovative methods and procedures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and resolve manufacturing-related technical issues.
  • Collaborate with technical and other departments to prepare accurate cost estimates for new projects and improvements.
  • Assist in the procurement and design of production handling and manufacturing equipment.
  • Partner closely with Lean Supervisors to implement lean projects aimed at waste elimination.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by direct supervision, adhering to workplace procedures and policies.
  • Operate within the integrated management system, applying lean manufacturing and 5S best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of standards emphasizing customer focus, company values, and continuous improvement.
  • Submit continuous improvement proposals aligned with organizational goals.
  • Adhere to environmental protection standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of eight years’ professional experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficient in English, both oral and written communication.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, especially Lean Manufacturing principles.
