Machine Operator - Food and Beverage Processing

Job Overview

This position involves operating and adjusting machinery used in the processing and packaging of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The role requires hands-on work only at the company’s facility located in Acton Vale, Quebec, with no remote working option available.

Languages and Education

• Proficiency in French is required.
• Applicants must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have between 1 to less than 7 months of relevant work experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

• The work location is noisy.
• Physical demands are significant, involving repetitive tasks and handling of heavy loads.
• Work requires manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.
• The environment is fast-paced.

Key Responsibilities

• Make corrective adjustments to machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Operate machines for processing, bottling, canning, or packaging beverages.
• Document production data accurately.
• Monitor gauges, computer outputs, and video displays to maintain correct processing conditions.
• Perform cleaning of machines and adjacent work areas.
