Role Overview

The Loading Bay Operative position is a key part of our operations team, focused on maintaining a steady workflow and ensuring that high-quality standards are met for our customers. You will have the opportunity to work across various tasks within the department, with a rotation system designed to build your skills and promote development within the company.

Working Hours and Conditions

This is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, starting early at 6:00 AM and finishing at 2:30 PM. The schedule includes two unpaid breaks during the shift. The work environment is fast paced and dynamic, located on our abattoir site within the food production sector. Physical fitness, enthusiasm, and flexibility are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities and Training

You will be expected to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt your working hours when necessary. Comprehensive training is provided to keep you informed and compliant with all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Compensation and Additional Opportunities

The hourly pay rate is 312.90, with the chance to earn overtime starting from 5:00 AM and after your shift at a rate of time and a half, contingent on available roles. Additional earning opportunities post-shift may also be offered.
