About the Project and Employer

The Lead Technical Architect position is open for the Tirana Boulevard implementation project managed by Sky Invest sh.p.k, located at Rruga Ibrahim Rugova, Tirana. The project involves a multifunctional tower with 25 floors above ground and 4 underground floors, designed by international firm MVRDV with local Uno Architects and engineered by ARUP alongside local UTS-01. The project is currently under construction and requires adherence to international standards for coordination, detailing, and technical control.

Position Summary

The company seeks an experienced Lead Technical Architect with at least 10 years of professional expertise in technical detailing and a strong ability to lead teams. This role demands advanced analytical, technical, and organizational skills to translate architectural concepts into precise, coordinated, and fully implementable documentation that requires no field interpretation and is suitable for procurement and construction processes.

In addition to technical tasks, the role includes managing and organizing the technical detailing team, planning, delegating, monitoring task completion according to priorities and deadlines, ensuring quality control of technical documentation, maintaining standards compliance, and collaborating closely with international and local architects, engineers, consultants, the construction firm, the investor, and other stakeholders to guarantee multidisciplinary coordination and proper project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and coordinate the technical detailing team by planning, delegating tasks, and monitoring progress to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Oversee and assure the technical quality of the documentation prepared by the team, ensuring alignment with project standards and investor requirements.
• Provide professional development, guidance, and technical mentoring to team members while enforcing work methodologies and technical standards.
• Translate conceptual and executive designs into complete implementation detailing packages.
• Develop advanced technical details coordinated with structural, MEP, and facade components.
• Ensure all details are clear, measurable, and executable without necessity for interpretation on-site.
• Prepare technical documentation for procurement including specifications, bill of materials, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with international and local design teams (architecture and engineering), construction teams, investors, and other project parties.
• Monitor site implementation, promptly identifying and solving technical issues with solutions compliant with project intents and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance of execution with project documents and quality standards, intervening in deviations as needed.
• Participate actively in technical meetings and decision-making processes, representing the technical detailing team and professionally defending technical solutions.
• Contribute to optimizing technical approaches without compromising architectural integrity, functionality, or project quality.
• Provide periodic reports to the Technical Directorate and investor on team progress, documentation status, and issues affecting project delivery.
• Perform other assigned duties aligned with the position and project needs.

Qualifications Required

• University degree in Architecture.
• At least 10 years of experience in design and technical detailing.
• Proven experience in complex high-rise projects.
• Advanced expertise in technical detailing and implementation documentation.
• Ability to work with subcontractors and enforce quality standards.
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong skills in MS Office suite.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tower or multifunctional development projects.
• Experience working with international architectural/engineering studios.
• Familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows.
• Exposure to site supervision activities.
