About the Role

The Labourer position involves working in a fast-paced meat processing environment at our Wundowie facility, located approximately 30 minutes east of Midland, Western Australia. Responsibilities include handling pork products safely, operating processing equipment, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting efficient production workflows across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting pork sides between chillers and cutting stations
• Operating saws and related processing machinery
• Handling heavy pork quarters and large meat cuts
• Lifting and moving finished product cartons, trims, and waste containers
• Ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment
• Upholding food safety, sanitation, and housekeeping protocols
• Adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals

Candidate Profile

• Physical capability to perform demanding and repetitive manual tasks including lifting and prolonged standing
• Strong dedication to health and safety, food hygiene, and quality standards
• Reliability demonstrated by punctuality and consistent attendance
• Effective teamwork skills and clear communication in English
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle due to site location
• Prior experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory
