Job description
Role Summary
We invite applicants to join our team as a full-time permanent Labourer/Driver. In this position, you will contribute significantly to the upkeep and preparation of vacant properties to ensure they meet quality standards for new tenants. The role combines manual tasks with logistical responsibilities, supported by ongoing training and a collaborative work environment.
Job Overview
You will be part of a team comprising approximately 9 members, working closely in smaller groups of 2-3 multi-skilled colleagues per property. Tasks include garden upkeep, removing kitchen units, managing materials by collecting and delivering supplies from suppliers such as Jewson's, property cleaning, clearance tasks, and transporting kitchen components across sites. Your driving capabilities are pivotal for moving materials, conducting waste disposal trips, and installing key safes, thus supporting operational efficiency and helping ready properties for occupancy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong work ethic with the flexibility to handle a variety of physical tasks daily.
- Proficiency in maintenance duties, including lawn mowing, pruning trees and hedges, key safe installation and removal, and general property clearance.
- Dependability and organizational skills to manage materials and logistics effectively.
- Ability to collaborate well with team members.
- Professionalism in representing the company in tenant interactions and maintaining high workmanship standards.
- A valid UK driving license (automatic or manual) is mandatory. An automatic tipper van with a fuel card will be provided.

- Position based in Cwmbran, serving South East Wales.
- Standard working days Monday to Friday with an option for compressed hours over a 9-day fortnight.
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 31 days with additional years of service.
- Maternity and Adoption Leave of 20 weeks; Paternity Leave of 3 weeks.
- Annual salary of £27,976 for a 40-hour workweek.
