Job description
About the Role
A well-established development company specializing in high-end residential apartments and houses is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role involves working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and splitting time between the head office and construction sites in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Accurately measure quantities and generate take-offs based on architectural and engineering plans.
- Monitor and control project expenditure including labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or another closely related discipline.
- At least six months of practical experience in quantity surveying roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts and procurement procedures.
