Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Logistics Coordinator to join our expanding operations team. This pivotal role supports warehouse operations, oversees inventory control, facilitates logistics coordination, and manages key administrative duties to ensure smooth business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter receiving documentation into the ERP system (CoStar).
- Ensure timely submission of receiving paperwork to the Accounting department.
- Alert internal teams when products have arrived and are ready for deployment.
- Keep warehouse documentation and records systematically organized.
- Contribute to inventory cycle counts, audits, and accuracy verifications.
- Assist with inventory control by tracking stock quantities and availability of service parts.
- Generate purchase orders as per set inventory guidelines for managerial approval.
- Support coordination efforts related to the tire retreading program.
- Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation distribution for billing purposes.
- Prepare customer quotes following established pricing structures.
- Handle warranty claim processing and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on claim progress.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Warehouse Manager and the operations team.
- Assist with Emergency Road Service dispatch as necessary.
- Help with loading and unloading commercial tires, parts, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment.
- Support daily warehouse operations and other tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Strong reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or administrative roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is helpful.
- Detail-oriented data entry capabilities.
- Forklift certification or prior warehouse experience is considered a plus.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is beneficial.
Working Schedule
The role requires working Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Overtime may occasionally be necessary during busy times. Employees enjoy weekends and statutory holidays off.
