Position Overview

This role is focused on managing and supporting intelligence operations within the Department of Energy (DOE) and the broader Intelligence Community (IC). The officer will oversee program and project management activities, ensuring smooth, professional intelligence operations across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support multi-source intelligence operations encompassing HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, Open Source, and ELINT, coordinating with various U.S. agencies involved in intelligence, foreign policy, and law enforcement.
  • Administer several contracts and projects by managing funds and maintaining high operational standards of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage in effective communication with senior government personnel and prepare briefings for senior DOE leadership, building and sustaining collaborative relationships across DOE, IC, and other government entities.
  • Conduct research and compile intelligence reports, assessments, and briefing documents while maintaining strict control and dissemination protocols for sensitive information.
  • Implement emergency response protocols, support senior leaders during crises, and uphold continuity of operations planning within DOE.
  • Operate various telecommunications and IT platforms, including secure networks and video/teleconferencing systems.
  • Support development and application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and foster best practices to enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of Intelligence Operations Center activities.
  • Prepare crisis management, consequence management, and operational plans.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a business, national security, or related field.
  • At least four years of relevant experience combining private sector, civil service, or military roles performing related duties.
  • Proven experience working with intelligence projects or programs, including all-source intelligence techniques such as HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, Open Source, and ELINT.
  • Strong skills in intelligence research, analysis, and production, with knowledge of intelligence collection, processing, dissemination, and analytical methodologies for producing finished intelligence assessments.
  • Possession of a current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is mandatory.
