Role overview
Gradiant is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-driven Procurement Administrator to assist with daily procurement activities across its global operations. The position suits someone with a positive mindset, strong coordination ability, and a willingness to learn. Prior exposure to procurement work or SAP/ERP systems is helpful, though not mandatory, as suitable candidates will receive training.
Key responsibilities
- Support the procure-to-pay cycle by checking purchase requests, turning them into purchase orders, and managing quotation requests.
- Keep vendor master records and material master data accurate and up to date, including pricing, storage details, and units.
- Investigate mismatches in deliveries or invoices and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to close delays or issues.
- Follow internal procurement policies and applicable compliance requirements throughout the process.
- Maintain organized procurement files, delivery documents, and reports for audit and analysis purposes.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by the supervisor, manager, or management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline; similar qualifications may also be accepted.
- Open to fresh graduates.
- Applicants with 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related areas are welcome.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong eye for detail and good organizational ability.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with different teams.
- Comfortable working independently and also as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable, self-driven, and accountable in day-to-day work.
- Able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-changing business environment.
- Interested in continuous learning, process improvements, and professional development.
- Exposure to SAP or other ERP platforms is beneficial but not compulsory.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related operational work is an added advantage.
