Our collaborative culture champions creativity, accountability, and a supportive environment for high performers to thrive.
Role Overview
We are seeking a personable and hands-on IT Support Assistant to manage daily tech support requests in our London office. This role focuses on resolving common technical issues promptly, setting up equipment and accounts, and ensuring a smooth technology experience for team members. You will work closely with our IT Operations Lead who handles more complex tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts and access permissions across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365/Teams, Slack, and other essential tools.
- Grant and revoke software licenses (e.g., Claude, Figma, Asana), administer shared mailboxes, and conduct password resets.
- Prepare new employees with laptops, software access, and workstation setup before their start date.
- Coordinate offboarding by disabling accounts and recovering equipment from departing staff.
- Maintain meeting rooms’ audiovisual equipment—cameras, microphones, screens—to ensure readiness for calls.
- Troubleshoot and fix monitors, office displays, and peripheral devices such as keyboards, chargers, and cables.
- Organize workspace cables and maintain inventory of accessories to prevent shortages.
- Perform initial diagnostics and quick resolutions for network and WiFi issues, escalating more complex problems as needed.
- Ensure printers and other shared tech resources are operational and liaise with suppliers for repairs or replenishments.
Candidate Requirements
- Some practical experience in IT or tech support roles—helpdesk, retail tech support, or office-based technical assistance.
- Proficiency with MacOS devices (Apple hardware used company-wide).
- Familiarity or quick adaptability to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365/Teams platforms.
- Previous exposure to meeting room audiovisual equipment and cable management is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure, especially during urgent tech failures.
- Highly organized with the ability to track tasks and maintain tidy work areas.
- Proactive in identifying potential technical issues before they escalate.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience with Mobile Device Management tools such as Kandji.
- Background in creative or agency environments.
- Knowledge of SaaS administration and license management.
Terms & Conditions
- Part-time position requiring approximately two days per week in our London office.
- This is an on-site role; remote working is not available.
- Initial contract for a few months with potential for extension based on mutual fit.
- Compensation offered as a day or hourly rate, commensurate with experience and discussed during the interview process.
Diversity & Inclusion
We are dedicated to cultivating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels supported and empowered to contribute their best. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply, and accommodations are available throughout our hiring process to support candidates with disabilities or additional needs.
