IT Security Specialist

Overview

Our company is looking to hire a committed IT Security Specialist who brings at least two years of direct experience managing enterprise network and security operations. The role demands expertise in Network Access Control (NAC) systems, Aruba ClearPass, and multilayer firewall management across perimeter, extranet, and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and sustain enterprise security infrastructure spanning perimeter, extranet, and data center firewall systems.
• Administer Aruba ClearPass NAC for endpoint identification, device profiling, access regulation, and enforcement of security policies.
• Design, configure, and refine firewall policies, NAT rules, ACLs, VPN settings, and security zones.
• Evaluate firewall logs, NAC-generated alerts, VPN data, and other security events to pinpoint anomalies and threats.
• Implement network segmentation to separate users, servers, data centers, external networks, and internet-facing services.
• Review and approve firewall modification requests, ensuring compliance with best practice security standards.
• Assist in vulnerability fixing, patch rollouts, and system hardening tasks.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and application teams to address security and connectivity challenges.
• Maintain thorough records for firewall rules, NAC settings, access controls, and audit documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least two years of experience in IT security or network security roles.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Aruba ClearPass and NAC tools.
• Strong familiarity with perimeter, extranet, and data center firewalls such as Fortinet or Palo Alto.
• Experience configuring VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, ACLs, and security zones.
• Good understanding of network segmentation and Zero Trust security frameworks.
• Skilled in analyzing security logs, alerts, and related events.
• Knowledgeable about vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Excellent documentation and communication capabilities.
• Mandatory proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous, including Aruba ClearPass Associate/Professional, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, and CCNA Security.
