International Operations Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee and enhance our global operations, ensuring excellence and efficiency across international fronts. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage cross-functional operations teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Design and execute global operational strategies aligned with business goals and tailored to specific market conditions.
• Streamline international processes and workflows by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee global operational budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
• Set, monitor, and report on operational KPIs, proposing corrective action plans for any deviations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations as well as internal company policies.
• Manage global operational risks by developing contingency and mitigation strategies.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in international operations, preferably within large corporations or multinational firms.
• Strong background managing multicultural and remote teams.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
• Analytical mindset with experience using management and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across various hierarchical and cultural levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Operations Management, International Business, or related fields.
• Experience implementing Agile methodologies or Lean Six Sigma in operational contexts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other global operations management platforms.
• Background working in emerging markets or managing complex operations in challenging regions.
