Company Overview
A well-established general building contractor located in Cork, renowned for delivering commercial, healthcare, educational, and refurbishment projects across Cork and Munster regions.
Role Description
You will become part of the commercial team and initially focus on managing a €5-6 million office refurbishment project in Cork City, with additional upcoming projects across the wider Munster area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cost control procedures and produce regular reports.
- Coordinate procurement processes for subcontractor engagement.
- Prepare valuations, handle contract variations, and finalize accounts.
- Oversee the commercial management from project initiation to completion.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related field.
- Experience working within a contractor, consultancy, or developer environment.
- Exhibit strong commercial insight and effective communication capabilities.
