About the Employer
The Saddleback Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) is a public education system located in South Orange County, California. SVUSD oversees approximately 23,000 students ranging from preschool to adult education across 33 schools.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Secondary Education, the successful candidate will serve as the educational leader and chief executive of La Paz Intermediate School, a comprehensive 7-8 grade institution. The role encompasses planning, coordinating, and managing all school activities and programs to comply with State and District requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential is mandatory.
- A valid California Teaching Credential is also required.
- A Master's Degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Applicants must provide the following documents: detailed copies of both credentials including document and expiration details, a letter of introduction, three recommendation letters from the last two years, and a current resume.
Additional Information
- Number of Vacancies: 1
- Salary range: $142,141 to $164,135 annually, with longevity pay increasing this range to $154,934 to $178,907 for those with 15 full-time years of experience in education.
- An additional $5,390 is available for candidates holding a Doctoral degree.
- Work year consists of 212 days.
- Employment type is full-time, onsite.
