Job description
Position Overview
The Intelligence Analyst role involves analyzing and synthesizing intelligence data and systems to support military operations and training. This full-time position is located onsite at Ramstein Air Base in Kaiserslautern, Germany, working under the Site Lead in the USAFE-Air Forces Africa department. The analyst contributes to threat evaluations, system development, and intelligence planning.
Primary Duties
- Analyze and compile signals intelligence from diverse sources and produce detailed reports and summaries.
- Serve as the authority on signals intelligence queries and provide integration support for all-source intelligence products.
- Deliver briefings to senior officers and NCOs, prepare assessments, compile statistics, and manage publications on the collateral SIPRNET.
- Participate in battle staff planning focused on Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield for contingency efforts in the European operational area.
- Apply comprehensive intelligence methodologies including Order of Battle analysis, IPB products, imagery analysis, communication security, and operations using JDISS and JWICS systems.
- Conduct training on surveillance, imagery, mapping techniques, and operational applications.
- Maintain proficiency with multiple imagery resources spanning commercial, theater, and National Technical Means (NTM) for research purposes.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in a pertinent discipline with at least 6 years of specialized experience, or alternatively, 10 years of specialized experience without the degree.
- Proficient in analyzing plans, intelligence data, and systems; developing assessments and recommendations for identified gaps.
- Experience integrating data from varied sources and ensuring system interoperability.
- Skilled in data collection and producing outcomes based on analysis.
- Must hold TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph as a position requirement.
