Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Instructional Designer to work remotely to create engaging educational experiences aligned with WHOlivesorg's missions in water access, health, and empowerment. The position involves assessing learning requirements, designing curricula, and developing training resources tailored to diverse groups including staff, volunteers, and community collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and multimedia content.
- Ensure learning objectives correspond with organizational goals and maintain consistent quality and tone throughout training resources.
- Partner with subject matter experts and incorporate feedback to continuously improve training programs.
- Support the effective use of learning management systems and tools.
- Evaluate training outcomes and propose enhancements to increase learner engagement and program impact.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in conducting Needs Analysis and managing Learning Management Systems to assess and facilitate training initiatives.
- Expertise in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development for creating structured and learner-centric educational programs.
- Experience in Training & Development to deploy and refine training across geographically dispersed and remote audiences.
- Hands-on experience with e-learning authoring tools, virtual training platforms, and multimedia creation is advantageous.
- Educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Training & Development, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Strong capabilities in written and visual communication with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage workload in a remote, mission-focused setting.
- Experience within international development, public health, or social impact sectors and sensitivity to cross-cultural learning environments are beneficial.
