About the Role
The Installation and Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the entire process of machine installations, commissioning, and maintenance activities. This position demands overseeing both preventive maintenance and breakdown services to maintain high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling and coordination for all machine installations and commissioning tasks.
- Ensure timely dispatch and deployment of service engineers to customer sites.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between customers and internal teams including service, sales, production, and stores.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of service activities and customer interactions.
- Coordinate activities to ensure smooth workflow and prompt resolution of customer service issues.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple service operations simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in coordinating technical service operations and field engineer logistics.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to service tasks.
- Problem-solving skills to manage breakdown services and operational challenges effectively.
