Position Overview
The Infrastructure & Operations Lead role entails full responsibility for overseeing the enterprise's IT infrastructure and operational functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the role demands ensuring optimal availability, security, and performance of data centers, networks, end-user computing, and core IT services, alongside strong collaboration with business and division leaders.
Key Duties
- Oversee and direct IT infrastructure operations covering Data Centre, Servers, Storage, Networks, Cloud, Office 365, and End-User Computing environments.
- Guarantee 24/7 system availability, ensure performance standards, manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Drive infrastructure modernization efforts including cloud integration, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management workflows effectively.
- Maintain strict adherence to information security policies, ISO 27001 standards, IT General Controls (ITGC), audit requirements, and regulatory compliances.
- Supervise relationships with infrastructure vendors, OEMs, and service partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Lead cost management strategies, capacity planning, and the lifecycle management of assets.
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualifications: Degree in Engineering, MCA, or equivalent.
- Professional experience: 12 to 18+ years in IT Infrastructure and Operations management.
- Expertise required in managing Data Centres, Networks, Cloud environments, Cybersecurity frameworks, and Disaster Recovery processes.
- Previous work experience in manufacturing, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or other regulated sectors is favorable.

- Knowledgeable in Information Security standards and compliance requirements.
