About the Opportunity
The Human Resources Generalist will take a key position in managing and enhancing the complete HR lifecycle. The role calls for a self-driven professional capable of working autonomously while partnering with leadership to improve HR systems, spearhead recruitment initiatives during expansion phases, and manage benefits and compliance processes. This position plays a critical role in maintaining streamlined HR operations and nurturing a positive corporate culture.
Responsibilities
- Enhance HR systems, particularly Rippling, in collaboration with leadership.
- Direct recruiting and talent acquisition efforts throughout periods of rapid growth.
- Administer benefits programs and coordinate open enrollment periods.
- Manage compliance activities including year-end and start-of-year operations.
- Oversee fundamental HR duties such as documentation, leave management, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Maintain vendor relationships related to 401(k) plans and Workers' Compensation.
- Develop programs that foster wellness and engagement among both remote and onsite employees.
- Possibly support payroll processing as the role expands.
Requirements
- Three to five years of advancing experience in HR, specifically in compliance, benefits, and recruiting.
- Familiarity with California wage and hour regulations and best practices.
- Experience using Rippling or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently and collaborate with others efficiently.
- Certifications like HRCI or SPHR are advantageous.
- Residency and authorization to work in California, Nevada, or New Mexico are required.
