As an HSE Inspector based in Dubai, you will contribute to ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance in major infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks under supervision across various environmental, health, and safety areas to ensure adherence to ES&H standards and legal regulations.
- Support the creation, implementation, and upkeep of safety and health policies, systems, and procedures.
- Monitor workplace hazards and potential occupational diseases.
- Collaborate with teams to investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and hazard complaints.
- Suggest improvements in operational processes, designs, procedures, and equipment to mitigate risks.
- Assist in delivering employee training programs and emergency preparedness initiatives, ensuring overall program integrity.
Candidate Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in HSE roles within significant infrastructure construction projects.
- Essential experience working on tunneling methods such as TBM, NATM, and Cut & Cover.
- Mandatory background in viaduct or elevated structure construction.
- Prior involvement in high-speed rail, railway, metro, or related rail infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE laws, risk evaluation, and permit-to-work systems.
- Skillful in conducting incident investigations and identifying hazards.
Additional Certifications (Preferred)
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
- IOSH Managing/Working Safely
- OSHA Safety Certification
- First Aid and Fire Warden Certification
