Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Housing Case Manager based in St. John's, NL, committed to working onsite to oversee social and community service programs. This role is vital in planning, organizing, administering, and assessing social initiatives, ensuring effective service delivery within a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties
- Lead the management and execution of social and community service programs.
- Assess and monitor program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Develop strategies and organize resources for program delivery.
- Administer programs related to social issues for non-governmental organizations.
- Address and resolve conflicts that arise within service programs.
- Provide coaching and support to clients and team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completion is mandatory.
- Experience of 3 to less than 5 years in a related role.
- Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Possess strong interpersonal abilities including teamwork, initiative, judgement, and ethics.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, large workloads, and caseloads efficiently.
- A valid driver's license and the capability to work under pressure with high attention to detail are required.
- Willingness to comply with necessary security clearances such as criminal record checks, enhanced reliability security clearance, and vulnerable sector checks.
Work Environment
- Physical presence at the St. John's office is required; remote work is not an option.
- Work settings include community and social services, nonprofit organizations, and general office environments.
- The role demands handling complex and dynamic work situations in a timely manner.
