About the Role

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Castle Lodge Care Home in Mere, part of the Country Court family. Our new care home offers specialist dementia and residential care within a tranquil environment, ensuring a safe and comfortable life for residents with diverse needs.

Role Overview

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the home. This includes meticulous cleaning of residents' rooms and common areas, managing personal laundry duties such as washing, pressing, and folding clothing and bedding to perfection. The position requires great attention to detail and dedication to creating an immaculate and welcoming environment.

Working Hours & Conditions

This is a part-time role requiring 30 hours per week, involving weekend shifts on a rotating basis. The position is fully onsite at our care home.

About You

• You are proactive, passionate, and eager to contribute to a person-centred care environment.
• A friendly and caring attitude, able to engage well with residents and their families.
• Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not mandatory.
• An exceptional eye for detail and cleanliness.
• Understanding or knowledge of the care sector is desirable.
