Join the team at Stanton Court Nursing Home, a specialist nursing and residential facility situated in the village of Stanton Drew near Chew Magna (postcode BS39 4ER), approximately 8 miles south of Bristol and Bath. Part of the Country Court family of care homes, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, family-like environment for our residents supported by a committed team led by the Home Manager.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. Responsibilities include meticulous cleaning of residents' rooms and communal areas, ensuring no surface is overlooked. You will also be responsible for the impeccable washing, pressing, and folding of residents' personal clothing and bedding. This position requires working an average of 33.75 hours per week with a rota that includes weekends; typical shift hours are 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating between four shifts one week and five shifts the next.

Candidate Profile

We seek proactive, motivated, and caring individuals who are passionate about fostering a person-centered environment. While experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not mandatory, having a sharp eye for detail and a warm, friendly attitude is essential. Ability to engage effectively with residents and their families, as well as some knowledge or understanding of the care sector, will be advantageous. Due to the location of the home, access to personal transportation is required.
