Located at 9655 S Dixie Highway, Miami, Florida, this opportunity with Mr. Handyman of E. Nashville & Hendersonville invites skilled craftspeople to join a flourishing team. The company ensures you have all logistical support including a company van, gas card, and a dedicated office team to manage your schedule and customer communications, allowing you to focus strictly on your craft.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of small to medium home and commercial maintenance and repair projects lasting from a few hours up to two days.
- Engage effectively with customers by explaining necessary works, managing expectations regarding procedures and costs.
- Build lasting customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent service according to the structured process known as the Mr. Handyman Way.
Candidate Requirements
- Must reside locally within the Miami area.
- At least 5 years of professional handyman experience.
- Possess own tool set.
- Eligible to be insured for driving company vehicles and successful completion of background and driving record checks.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and working safely at height and overhead for extended periods.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance and upkeep of the company vehicle provided.
- Demonstrable skill in a minimum of three of the following: carpentry, bathroom and kitchen improvements, indoor and outdoor painting, drywall repair, general plumbing and electrical work (where legal), floor installation and refurbishment, and knowledge of relevant building codes.
Compensation and Benefits
The remuneration ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and skill breadth across home repair areas. Additional benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid vacations and holidays, a company vehicle with fuel card, and potential bonuses.
Additional Information
The employer for this position is the franchise owner of Mr. Handyman, who operates independently from Mr. Handyman SPV LLC and its affiliates. Employment terms, including wage and benefits, are managed by the franchise owner individually.
