Role Overview

We are seeking Grocery Store Assistants to join the Wolt Market team in Malta, available for full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (30 hours/week) positions. This role is vital to daily store operations, ensuring all customer orders are compiled and ready for pickup either by couriers or customers themselves. The store operates seven days a week with varied shifts requiring weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth running of the store and support store management across various operational areas.
• Deliver outstanding customer service experiences.
• Manage daily unpacking of stock deliveries, maintain store upkeep through restocking and merchandising.
• Guarantee the delivery of fresh products to customers.
• Handle sales transactions and assist customers with bagging groceries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the entire store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Operating hours span from 06:45 to midnight daily.
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor.
• Maintain friendly and clear communication with colleagues.
• Possess motivation to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Maltese is advantageous.
• Previous retail experience is highly preferred.
