About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate Business Modelling Analyst, an exciting opportunity tailored for STEM graduates wanting to enter the commercial sector with a strong analytical focus. This role is based in London, offering a hybrid working arrangement within a top-tier global firm. The position involves creating and developing business models and requires proficiency in mathematical and analytical concepts rather than prior business or financial modelling experience.
Responsibilities
- Construct and advance analytical models from foundational principles.
- Analyze datasets to generate insights that support informed decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders to effectively communicate technical findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Regularly enhance and adjust modelling methodologies to improve accuracy and usability.
Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) in a quantitative or STEM field from a renowned university, such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics with Econometrics.
- Robust mathematical and analytical capabilities.
- Experience or familiarity with data analysis, statistical methods, and modelling techniques.
- Competency in handling both structured and unstructured datasets.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Excel or other modelling software tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additional Information
Though prior business or financial modelling background is not necessary, candidates should exhibit strong mathematical intuition and the capacity to adapt quickly to new challenges.
Salary: Up to £38,000 per year.
Location: London with hybrid work options.
