Job Description
The Global Market & Customer Analytics Manager is tasked with producing high-quality analytics on markets, customers, and competitors to steer strategic choices within the Government Health Division, focusing on Public Health and Forest Health. The role centers on generating data-backed insights, measuring performance, and supporting analytics aligned with the Division's Balanced Scorecard objectives. It enables leadership to track strategy progress, enhance customer-focused decisions, and confidently evaluate growth projects, portfolio results, and customer impacts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, prompt, and dependable analytics on market and customer data to aid regional business leadership.
- Ensure data quality and methodological rigor across dashboards, reports, and models.
- Track Manufacturing and Supply Chain key performance indicators to support transparency and accountability.
- Analyze market behavior, customer trends, and demand in Public Health and Forest Health B2G markets.
- Contribute analytical insights for evaluating innovative initiatives, portfolio changes, and emerging tech.
- Assess long-term market prospects and unmet customer demands through data.
- Convert complex data analyses into actionable insights for various teams.
- Assist in crafting educational content and data-driven narratives for internal distribution.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to enhance customer and market understanding.
- Support segmentation, market sizing, trend analyses, and customer lifetime value assessments.
- Monitor competitor actions and summarize business impacts.
- Create and update dashboards on customer experience, portfolio, and market expansion.
- Support voice of customer and customer journey analyses.
- Domestic and international travel up to 10% expected.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 5 to 8 years in market analytics, customer analytics, or business intelligence roles.
- Proven experience providing analytical insights for strategy, marketing, or portfolio teams.
- Strong aptitude for handling complex datasets and summarizing key insights.
- Advanced skills in Excel and business intelligence platforms like Power BI.
- Effective communication skills to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Meticulous organization and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Background in regulated, scientific, or government-oriented markets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Knowledge of Balanced Scorecard, KPI frameworks, or performance management systems.
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Engineering, Applied Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, or related areas is mandatory. A Master's degree is preferred. Prior experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer in life sciences, public health, or health-related sectors is advantageous.

- Work Location: This role is fully remote and open to candidates residing in any Canadian province except Quebec.

- Travel: Approximately up to 10% domestic and international travel is anticipated.
- Compensation: The expected annual base salary ranges from 103500 to 131000 CAD, determined by location, skills, and experience.
