Gateperson / Traffic Marshall

Overview

We are seeking a Gateperson/Traffic Marshall to work at a SEN school in Bramcote, Nottinghamshire. The role requires candidates to possess a valid CSCS card and Traffic Marshall certification, with an enhanced DBS check mandatory prior to joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and monitor site access ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are permitted entry.
• Verify identification and credentials of all individuals entering or leaving the premises.
• Keep precise logs of visitors, deliveries, and vehicle movements on site.
• Direct vehicles to designated parking spots and manage traffic flow within the area.
• Support a safe working environment by enforcing site policies and regulations.
• Report any suspicious or unauthorized activities to appropriate authorities.
• Maintain clear communication with site staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the site manager as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse individuals on site.
• Capability to remain calm and efficient in pressured or challenging circumstances.
• Basic proficiency in computer use for record maintenance.
• Physical fitness to stand for prolonged periods during shifts.
