Location and Start Date
This position is based at Keio Academy of New York, located at 3 College Road, Purchase, NY 10577. The anticipated start date is around August 21, 2026.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Must hold a New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license or possess a transferable RN license from another state.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED is required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Health Center staff, the school physician, faculty, resident faculty, and senior management.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English (bilingual).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first aid, medication management, and medical treatments for students.
- Maintain student health records in compliance with New York State law and HIPAA regulations.
- Escort students to medical appointments and coordinate with external healthcare providers.
- Assist the school doctor in performing physical exams, vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and screenings.
- Communicate student health information with parents, the school doctor, and relevant personnel.
- Participate in on-call rotations 3–4 times weekly during the school session beyond Health Center hours.
- Carry out additional administrative tasks assigned by the school.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary ranges from $81,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
