Role Overview
As the inaugural dedicated Frontend Engineer at Greptile, you'll be responsible for end-to-end ownership of the product's user interface and experience. You'll build and maintain a sophisticated TypeScript/React dashboard and analytics platform that provides engineering leaders with comprehensive code quality insights. This role is fundamental within a talented, highly collaborative, onsite team made up of former engineers from Stripe, Facebook, and Figma, all committed to fast-paced development and delivering outstanding frontend solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and oversee the Greptile dashboard and customer analytics using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate intimately with design engineers to iterate rapidly and guarantee a seamless, responsive, and visually pleasing frontend experience.
- Create intelligent autonomous agents that adapt to unique coding standards and identify critical pull request feedback to reduce noise for thousands of enterprise development teams.
Desired Qualifications
- Between 3 and 7 years of professional frontend development experience with strong expertise in TypeScript and ReactJS.
- Demonstrated commitment to craftsmanship and aesthetics, evidenced by history of building appealing, high-performance user interfaces at design-driven organizations or through complex personal projects.
- Thrives in fast-growing, in-person work environments.
- Holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification from a top-tier university.
Location and Work Environment
This position is based onsite in San Francisco, California’s vibrant North Beach area, working alongside a highly skilled team focused on collaborative innovation and rapid feature delivery.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $250,000 annually, supplemented with equity participation.
