Currently, we are engaged with a major client in the logistics industry on an extensive reporting system overhaul. This initiative involves cleansing massive volumes of shipping and supply chain data to deliver clear, actionable reports for management. This fully remote position involves designing user-facing layouts and components that enable the client's team to effectively interact with the data. We emphasize detailed documentation and clean configurations to ensure client autonomy post-engagement.

Role Overview

This internship centers on frontend development with a focus on data visualization and user experience. You will collaborate with senior consultants to create and enhance the interfaces for our logistics client. The core objective is to build functional interfaces that make complex data accessible, facilitating dashboards monitoring shipping expenses, delivery schedules, and warehouse metrics. This remote role offers hands-on professional experience from your own workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Create responsive web components using current JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Convert design mockups into cross-browser compatible HTML and CSS.
• Work closely with data consultants to ensure frontend presentation aligns with backend as a trusted data source.
• Produce thorough documentation for each component to facilitate smooth handover to clients.
• Conduct interface testing to detect and resolve bugs before deployment.
• Support configuration of internal reporting tools to enhance data retrieval efficiency.
• Engage in project discussions to grasp reporting demands specific to the logistics sector.
• Refactor legacy codebases to boost client system performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6 or newer.
• Experience or familiarity with at least one frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular, including via personal projects or coursework.
• Understanding of connecting frontend interfaces to APIs for data extraction and display.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Strong attention to design details like layout, spacing, and typography.
• Motivation to learn about enterprise reporting systems within consulting environments.
• Good organizational habits and a commitment to maintaining clean, well-documented code.
