Fresher Data Analyst (Entry/Junior Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fresher Data Analyst to join our expanding data team in Australia. Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and cleanse data from various business sources for analysis.
• Create informative reports, dashboards, and visualizations that aid decision-making processes.
• Use SQL and other reporting tools to extract, verify, and handle data effectively.
• Analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Prepare regular summaries, performance indicators, and reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in automating reporting workflows and data pipelines.
• Continuously monitor and ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Product teams, and management to capture reporting needs.
• Support validation efforts, identify issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Learn and utilize current analytics methods, BI tools, and industry standards.
• Participate in projects related to business intelligence, predictive analytics, and operational reporting.
• Propose enhancements to improve efficiency and support data-driven decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and fundamental data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio is beneficial.
• Introductory knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and report generation concepts.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the aptitude to interpret complex data sets accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring data integrity and quality.
• Effective communication skills for explaining analytical results clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of interdisciplinary teams.
