Position Summary

The Finance department is looking for a Financial Analyst II to join the expanding FP&A team as the key Finance Business Partner to the Sales organization. This role involves partnering with Sales leadership to manage financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision support. The Financial Analyst II will oversee planning and reporting on ACV bookings, operating expenses, and headcount, delivering insights to enhance business performance and back company growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main FP&A business partner for Sales, offering financial guidance and actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Sales leaders and Operations to develop headcount plans aligned with sales goals and organizational needs.
  • Manage operating expense planning and forecasting for Sales, focusing on personnel and discretionary expenditures.
  • Lead ACV forecasts by monitoring bookings, analyzing pipeline trends and drivers, and reporting performance against targets across regions and segments.
  • Support monthly close processes by analyzing actual results, investigating discrepancies, collaborating with Accounting, and producing comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses.
  • Create, maintain, and improve financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and scenario evaluations.
  • Identify and implement improvements in planning, reporting, and forecasting through automation and process enhancements.
  • Provide support for strategic projects, ad hoc requests, and executive reporting while developing and monitoring key operational and efficiency metrics.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years of Finance or FP&A experience, preferably within high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Exemplary organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks efficiently.
  • Strong collaborator capable of building and nurturing cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficient in advanced financial modeling with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experienced in analyzing large datasets to uncover trends and generate actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, Pigment, Looker, or NetSuite is advantageous.

For U.S.-based applicants, the expected salary range at hire is $64,000 to $101,000 per year, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $73,000 and $104,000 annually, including bonuses or commissions.
