About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Finance Analyst to join the Planning & Reporting Team at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. This role involves creating and maintaining financial reports and reporting tools that support effective decision-making and service delivery across the Trust. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to provide comprehensive insights from both operational and corporate financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate financial reporting tools to aid budget management across the organisation.
- Support the Trust's Business Planning and Reporting cycle alongside the Planning & Reporting Manager.
- Assist the wider Financial Management team during the Month End process and contribute to ad-hoc financial projects.
- Coordinate and complete responses to Freedom of Information requests related to finance.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in financial data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
- Capability to meet tight deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
