Role Summary
The position involves joining the Supply Chain department as a site Expeditor. The role demands working closely with Buyers and suppliers to expedite orders, maintain system updates, issue RFQs, and handle purchase orders related to C Class and MRO items, alongside other general supply chain responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute daily reports including open purchase orders to suppliers.
- Communicate promptly with suppliers based both in the US and internationally to track progress and expedite deliveries.
- Support Buyers by issuing Requests for Quotations (RFQs) as needed.
- Maintain consistent tracking and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Manage purchasing of C-Class and MRO items as required to support procurement activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Flowserve safety, integrity, ethics, and supply chain policies and procedures.
- Fulfill any additional tasks assigned within the scope of the Supply Chain function.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
- Capability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving team environment.
- Basic proficiency in data analysis techniques.
- Proven ability to act urgently and responsively per business needs.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3 to 5 years of practical experience.
