About the Role
Ocean Network Express is seeking a dedicated Executive or Senior Executive to join the Global Container Asset Management team in Singapore. The role requires working on-site and involves key responsibilities within the transportation, logistics, and supply chain sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the rental settlement cycle, ensuring invoice accuracy by quickly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Process vendor payments in a timely manner while continuously monitoring outstanding receivables and following up on delayed payments.
- Create detailed reports to detect cost anomalies and irregularities related to rental settlements.
- Contribute to the creation and deployment of efficient systems for invoice processing in rental settlements.
- Manage the entire equipment write-off (total loss) and reinstatement processes strictly in accordance with internal company policies.
- Handle the full cycle of container asset disposal activities.
- Engage proactively in digital transformation projects and cross-departmental initiatives aimed at automating workflows and optimizing operational processes.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management as required.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of one year’s experience within the shipping industry is preferred, though candidates without prior experience are still encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience managing large datasets and providing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel, with preference for experience in Looker or comparable dashboard software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse functional teams.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to adapt efficiently to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to independently resolve challenges and improve business workflows.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn new digital technologies and evolve with changing business practices.
