Role Overview
This is an on-site, full-time opportunity for the position of Excavator Operator, with 20 vacancies based in the United Arab Emirates. The Excavator Operator will manage heavy excavation machinery to perform tasks such as digging, trenching, grading, and earthmoving in line with project requirements and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy excavation equipment to execute earthmoving and trenching tasks as per project specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery prior to use to ensure operational safety.
- Monitor machine performance continuously and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with site supervisors and fellow crew members to complete excavation assignments efficiently.
- Maintain clean and safe work environments adhering strictly to site safety protocols and company policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in operating heavy equipment, specifically excavators, and handling related machinery.
- Practical experience with excavation and trench operations, ideally within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, including routine inspections and minor repairs.
- Previous relevant experience as an Excavator Operator or comparable heavy equipment role, preferably within the UAE or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
- Understanding of site safety standards and safe operation practices for heavy machinery.
- Capability to interpret and follow work instructions, layout marks, and fundamental construction plans.
- Physical fitness to work under outdoor conditions and adaptability to diverse job site environments and schedules.
- Possession of the appropriate operator license or certification for excavator operation, complying with local legislative requirements.
