Estimation Engineer

Overview

Specialized Aluminum Facades Company (SAFC) is seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join their team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in the aluminum, glazing, and façade sectors, with expertise in evaluating tender documents and preparing cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender packages, including drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQs).
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and conduct supplier inquiries.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals related to façade projects.
• Estimate costs related to aluminum systems, glass specifications, hardware, sealants, secondary steel elements, fabrication, and installation processes.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on estimation experience specifically in aluminum, glazing, and façade work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aluminum windows and doors, curtain walls, structural glazing, skylights, ACP cladding, louvers, and balustrades.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD software.
• Preferably experienced within the Saudi or broader GCC construction markets.
• Effective communication abilities in English.
