About the Role
Join Danone Nutricia NZ as an Equipment Operator (Processing) at our Dairy Factory in Balclutha. You will be an essential member of the Production team, responsible for assisting in the transformation of raw milk into infant formula. Your role is critical in ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products that meet our consumers' expectations every day. This is a permanent full-time position operated on a rotating shift schedule: 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off. Be aware that the role is physically demanding, involving heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and stair climbing daily.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Operate factory machinery effectively, ideally with prior experience in food manufacturing and knowledge of spray-drying technology being advantageous.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice standards while maintaining a strong focus on Health & Safety and Quality assurance.
- Comprehend and follow hygiene standards required in a food production environment, preferably within a High Care setting.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, capacity to work shifts, and collaborate effectively with team members.
