Electrical Inspection Engineer

About the Role

The Electrical Inspection Engineer will be tasked with performing thorough inspections, testing, and compliance checks of electrical systems at various industrial, commercial, and infrastructure project locations across India. The position demands adherence to pertinent standards and regulatory mandates to ensure safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspections at diverse industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sites.
• Execute electrical testing procedures such as Insulation Resistance Test, Earth Resistance Test, Continuity Test, and Functional Testing of Electrical Systems.
• Assess and verify compliance with standardized codes including IS, IEC, and other relevant protocols.
• Detect defects, identify non-conformities, and evaluate electrical risks and safety hazards.
• Compile comprehensive inspection and test reports detailing observations, findings, and suggestions for improvement.
• Strictly follow safety procedures throughout all testing and inspection activities.
• Liaise effectively with clients, site contractors, personnel, and internal departments.
• Be prepared to travel extensively to client sites throughout India as necessary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience within the electrical sector.
• Experience in electrical inspection, testing, maintenance, safety audits, or compliance validations is strongly preferred.
• Robust understanding of IS and IEC standards as well as electrical safety regulations.
• Readiness to undertake travel across India to various client locations.
